Senior Data Warehouse Developer to SEB

Are you a Data Warehouse developer looking for the opportunity to develop a new data warehouse with modern Google Cloud platform and where you will have end-to-end responsibility? SEB Pension & Försäkring is now looking for a developer within our Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse team.

In order to keep up with the rapid changes within IT and to keep increasing the quality of our deliveries we are now looking for someone to join us in in this area.

About the job

As a DW developer you will join an ambitious BI/Data warehouse team that is determined to build SEB Pension & Försäkring’s next generation information platform. As a team, we take pride in delivering high quality solutions in a timely manner. The team is responsible for the maintenance and development of Insurance warehouse for SEB Pension & Försäkring. Those platforms help SEB to follow compliance and risk regulations. In the role as DW Developer, you will be involved in maintaining old and develop new solutions.

Even though IT is our core competence, it is important for us to have knowledge about the business we support. In our team, we cover different roles such as business analyst, ETL developers and QA analysts. We all come from different backgrounds and cultures but together we are a close-knit team with a joint mission – to create a second to none information platform for SEB Pension & Försäkring.

Who are you?

We´re looking for a driven, curious person that wants to learn and adapt to new things. Since we are working in an agile set up, you should have experience working according to agile principles. In a team setup, it is important to find a balance between taking own initiative and working closely with other team members. Since we are an international team, it is important that you are able to communicate well in English (verbal as well as written) and to be open to work in new and different arrangements.

In order to fit into this role, you should have:

· Expert ETL/ELT, Data Pipelines, SSIS and Advanced SQL

· Programming languages: T-SQL, C#. Pyton and/or Java is high meriting.

· Databases: MSSQL

· Strong understanding of Data Warehouse Principles and Designs.

· Experience in Insurance or banking sector would be considered as an advantage.

· Highly meriting to have experience on Google cloud platform or other cloud providers.
