We are looking to expand our growing data team with a Data Engineer.
About the role,
You will use tools like Fivetran, DBT, Snowflake, AWS and Tableau using Python and SQL, to ingest and transform data daily. You will work closely with both our internal team and external teams. This can be both within internal projects but also as an expert consultant.
As a Data Engineer, you will:
Work on modeling data to provide clean, accurate datasets, that are easy to understand and consume by users
Develop the ETL, physical and logical layers of the warehouse for the purpose of being consumed in other analytic tools (eg. Tableau, etc.).
Daily monitoring of data feeds/refreshes within the warehouse, and troubleshooting issues as needed.
Help transform raw data to meaningful business insights.
What we think you have previously done,
In order to be successful in this role we see that you have:
3+ years of related experience working in a data warehousing, data engineering or data architect role
Experience building data warehouses designed for analytic teams.
A strong working knowledge in Snowflake and AWS as well as data languages like SQL and Python to handle data orchestration tasks.
Experience working independently, self-managing, and managing others on projects to deliver results supporting multiple clients and stakeholders.
A degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, software engineering, or IT is a plus.
