Job Description

As a Junior Print Designer at the Girls department, you will work with prints for a wide range of product types for the Girls customer 2-7 years + 8-12 years old. You will be working closely with the responsible print designer to develop prints for our collection in all global markets. The print work includes our own graphics as well as our very important license prints, where updating these girls’ favourite license characters and provide news value is key to success. We work with jersey, knit, woven and denim. It’s a creative and international work environment to which we hope you will contribute!

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone with a true love and passion for the Girls customer and products, and who is positive, energetic, creative and playful with a great eye for upcoming fashion print trends for girls customer groups 2-7 years & 8-12 years. You work easily in close cooperation with the team and have a strong ability to work at high speed and can prioritize with ease. We strongly value a genuine interest and understanding of the H&M Girls wear print handwriting which is of highest importance for the commercial success of the product range. You are flexible and love working with prints for a wide variety of products on a daily basis. You have the ambition to develop further within our kids dept.

Qualifications

We look for you who:

• Have a minimum BA degree in Textile/Fashion print and work as a junior fashion/textile print designer today, preferably for commercial fashion

• Have great knowledge and experience from different fashion print techniques

• Are experienced with all over prints as well as typography and graphic placement prints

• Like and are skilled in creating or/and reworking fun and commercial photoprints

• Strong playful commercial fashionable girls print handwriting and illustration skills

• Know Adobe Suite well, especially Photoshop and Illustrator

• CLO 3D or other 3D software is meriting

• Are customer focused & understand the H&M Young Girl and Kids Girl target groups

• Can work at a very fast pace and with parallel tasks in an organised, structured manner

• Are a driven team player, and can also take own initiatives

• Are fluent in English

• This is a permanent fulltime position in central Stockholm where you will become part of the Kids Girls department at the H&M head office
