We are looking for a UX designer to join us on our mission to continue building world-class customer support products, which is one of the cornerstones of Wolt’s success! ⭐

At Wolt we currently serve over 15 million registered customers. Since it takes some serious work from our dedicated customer support teams in each of the 23 countries to ensure customer satisfaction, we’re always on the lookout for ways to make their work more convenient and the customer experience even smoother.

For this reason we’re now building tools around self-service & automation that will help us to tackle the above! You would be joining a new, cross-functional team with a remarkable opportunity to contribute to the team's roadmap, product vision, ways of working, and most importantly, make an impact on millions of customer support interactions. The team will own the Wolt support funnel end-to-end: it will take ownership of creating self-service features to automate customer problems. Also, you’ll be working together with our amazing designers on our top of the class consumer app. Since the team is in a building phase, you would be one of the critical persons for developing the support tools' future.

The essence of this position is that as a UX designer you:

  • Are part of the Support Design Team
  • Will be responsible for designing the world's best support experience in Wolt consumer app
  • Work closely with our customer support teams around the world, and data analyst to identify top priority issues from the millions of tickets, dive deep into the customer problems, and design solutions to streamline and automate them
  • Collaborate with a Product Designer to ship production-ready designs, and sync your thoughts with our Consumer design team

You'll be paired with a talented Product Designer, forming a dynamic duo. You’ll frame user needs and behaviour and define optimised user flows. You'll be developing wireframes and prototypes, and all the time gathering feedback from the users and other stakeholders, through interviews and usability testing - in order to find creative ways to solve UX problems. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary product management, design & research, data, and engineering team to deliver thoughtful and polished design work that is grounded in solid research and validation. The platforms you'll design for are web and mobile products, so experience working with both is appreciated.

This role can be based in one of our tech hubs in Helsinki or Berlin, or you can work remotely anywhere in Finland, Sweden, Germany, Denmark, and Estonia.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in UX Design for digital products, ideally customer support and/or tooling background
  • User research experience to be able to also independently plan and execute user research when needed, or in cooperation with our UX Researcher
  • Analytical mindset and problem solving attitude
  • Strong data-drive
