Credit Analytics Team Lead

Qliro is now looking for a Team Lead to manage the Credit Risk Analytics team. The ideal candidate has a passion for understanding what drives risk and profitability and is eager to develop the team and our capabilities even further.

The Credit Risk Analytics team is responsible for the entire credit life cycle, from setting the underwriting strategy to monitoring of the portfolio performance and plays an essential role in driving profit and loss. As part of the team, you work in Qliro’s core business and have a direct impact on our success.

What you’ll do:

- You will have a key role in developing our credit strategies
- Strive to understand what drives risk and profitability in the portfolio, and how to balance the two
- Ensure that the credit loss reserve (ECL) is calculated timely and accurately
- Work closely together with the team which consists of credit analysts and data scientists, but also members from other teams such as engineers who develop infrastructure and products
- Be operationally responsible for the direction and strategy of the Credit Risk Analytics team
- Be able to engage in analytical and technical work and be part of the operational day-to-day work of the team
- Be part of a great and unpretentious team where everyone is highly skilled and motivated

Is a fast learner with strong quantitative skills that thrives in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment together with other team members. We also believe that you are good at finding simple solutions to complex problems and see the value of building good relations all throughout the company to enable cross-team collaborations. Furthermore, you also have an ability to identify the greater picture and can make long term strategic decisions.

We believe you:

- Have a degree in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, or physics
- Have worked as a credit analyst or similar for preferably 3-5 years or have other relevant experiences from working with data
- Have experience from working with SQL, R, Python or another data analysis language
- Have a strong analytical mind and questions assumptions
- Have a strong sense of responsibility, takes initiative, and has the skills and ambition to develop the team
- If you have experience from working with development teams, this is a plus
