Job Description

CREATOR STUDIO is an end-to-end print on demand merchandise platform.

We enable creativity and cultural expression by managing all aspects of print on demand, production, fulfilment, and e-commerce, including integrations for social commerce. This leaves creators and brands free to focus on designing exceptional products, growing their audience, and driving traffic to their distribution channels powered by CREATOR STUDIO.

CREATOR STUDIO is part of H&M Group – giving access to its global supply chain, from product development to fulfilment and logistics. Working with CREATOR STUDIO means tapping into over 75 years of experience in fashion and innovation, and a supply chain that is optimised to deliver high quality products sustainably and responsibly.

As part of H&M Group Business Ventures, CREATOR STUDIO is a start-up within the greater context of H&M Group. CREATOR STUDIO is comprised of about 45 highly motivated individuals; all experts in their respective fields and all working to provide an excellent customer experience through a start-up, fail fast mentality while also leveraging H&M Group assets.

We are building a new print on demand merchandise platform that will inspire and engage both our Creators as well as our End Customers. We are looking for a new team member, Python Developer, having expertise with Docker and Kubernetes as well as microservice oriented platform architecture. As a backend developer at CREATOR STUDIO, you are part of a cross-functional product teams that work together as one team to deliver the best possible customer experience. You will be part of disrupting old ways and setting up the base for how print on demand merchandise should be done.

Qualifications

As a Software Engineer at CREATOR STUDIO, you will embark on a journey that will lead to something new and exciting - we will test, fail, and learn. You are an important player in this expedition, and so we believe you are communicative, flexible, stress-resistant, and able to work in an environment that is not yet formalized.

We believe you identify with having:

• 4+ years of strong experience in developing Python-based applications

• Experience with microservices architectures

• Experience with REST APIs development

• Experience with container-based technologies

• Experience with databases, such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL

We also believe that you have experience working with:

• Event-driven architecture

• Cloud platforms

• Docker

• Messaging service bus technologies

• CI/CD pipelines

• Test automation tools and processes

• Architecture decisions and design patterns

• Third party integrations

You are awesome if you also have experience with:

• Security best practices

• Kubernetes

• Kafka

• Google Cloud Platform
