The Global Technology Area Verification & Validation - GTA V&V is driving several major activities within Autonomous Driving development chain including Integration, Verification & Validation and Data Analytics.

Perception Verification area within GTA V&V comprises of energetic and talented engineers who focuses on ensuring good sensing quality with help of simulations and data analytics by utilizing various environments. We are now looking for our next Perception Analysis Engineer to join our diverse team that thrives in problem-solving, teamwork and innovation.

How you will make an impact

As a perception analysis engineer, together with the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our perception system. With the help of your leadership skills and your technical knowledge, you will lead and guide the team in the right direction, by setting clear priorities.

To be successful in this role, we believe you have the courage and ability to take lead with delegating tasks while simultaneously, not being afraid to do work yourself whenever needed. In addition, we believe you have a natural ability to network and build relationships, as an important part of the role is to collaborate with various stakeholders, including other teams within perception development, infrastructure development and V&V.

You will be responsible for creating and maintaining the roadmap for the perception verification and anchoring with infrastructure teams to provide support with data related tools and services, software-in-the-loop (SIL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) systems. You are encouraged to dream big, dare to fail and always invest time in best methods and practices to achieve best perception quality.

Who are you?

We believe you have an education in Mechatronics, Software Engineering, Data Sciences or similar. Having a solid background in sensor/perception verification is important for the role. In order to thrive in this role, a good knowledge in programming, data logging and data analysis tools is desired. Experience with sensor data resim is advantageous.

A nice addition to this would be experience with service oriented architecture and familiarity with docker. Additional good to know tools include Matlab, OxTS, CANoe and CANalyser.
