Role responsibilities

• Write software for our core business exposed as REST APIs
• Design and implement API endpoints; full responsibility within the team to drive decisions about design, technology and architecture
• Work with other teams within the products department across the business to improve business processes
• Eager to discover and work with cutting edge technologies and apply them to improve performance, security and maintainability of our products

Professional requirements

• Minimum Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field of study
• Minimum 5 years’ experience of Java
• Have an eye for quality and care about sound engineering practices such as automated testing.
• You have experience of writing user-friendly and solid APIs
• You have good understanding of data structures
• Have experience with Spring framework
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Experience with SQL

It’s beneficial if you:

• Have experience from online marketing and/or e-commerce
• Have experience with REST APIs and Spring Boot
• Cloud experience, preferably AWS
• Have experience with continuous deployment pipelines, using tools such as Docker, Jenkins, Ansible and Kubernetes
• Experience with monitoring technologies such as Grafana, Loki, Prometheus
