One of the exciting things Tobii is doing is creating a better Windows experience using eye tracking.

For this matter we are recruiting even more world class C++ and C# developers to our EyeX Interaction team!

As C++/C# developer you will be part of an agile team that focuses on creating eye tracking features that will enhance the experience of using the Microsoft Windows operating system. Interaction concepts could include anything that uses your eyes together with or without other input modalities to make the experience of using Windows faster, cooler, easier and more fun.

Your main responsibilities will be to improve our existing interaction concepts and prototype, evaluate, implement and make interactive tutorials for new interaction concepts on the Windows platform. If you are a person with passion for developing software in C++/C# and developing eye-interaction experiences this could be for you!

We believe that you have a good sense of what makes code maintainable, reliable as well as easy to read and also embraces the SOLID principles of software design.

It is important that you have good English skills, since you will be speaking English on a daily basis.

Tobii has proven success in a number of markets and we are now on the verge of realizing our long time vision – eye control in all computers. Not only will you be working with ground breaking products, but also with a unique technology where your imagination is the only limit for its applications and success.

Find and implement the concepts for how to combine Eye Tracking into a Microsoft Windows environment.
Integrate new concepts into existing software, and quickly add the end user value of our consumer offering.
Integrate features into Windows through the use of Windows API and other lower level integrations such as virtual devices where we want to find and redirect interaction to where you look.
Build prototypes to transform ideas to valid concepts.
Your cool concept that you would like to see in a consumer product!

We believe you have

Strong core programming skills, - At least 3 years of working with C++/C# or 2 years working with C# development.
Experience in Win32 development.
A diploma in Computer Science or similar.
A good feel for UI & UX.
Willingness to work in a high pace team with both prototypes and production code.

We consider its a big plus if you have experience working with object oriented design and architecture (SOLID). Have you worked with other object-oriented languages such as Java, Python etc. and are interested in software development based upon the principles of TDD this position might suit you even better. If you also are experienced in UI Automation and/or APIs for input modalities (mouse, keyboard, touchpad, touchscreen) you will be very useful in our development team!

To be successful in this role and at Tobii you need to have a good understanding of consumer products and the importance of good UX. You also need to be familiar with agile methodologies and appreciate that way of working!
