Role of Python Developer (Streaming) in Stockholm

We are currently looking for passionate experienced and result-oriented candidates for the role of a Python Developer – Streaming with a professional background and exemplary concepts to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

We're looking for a senior Python programmer with at least 10 years of experience to join the team that maintains and develops our core systems.

The candidate will undergo the following:

• We currently have a high workload and require assistance with tasks such as moving out of a monorepo, creating new APIs, and/or migrations.
• Become an important member of a self-contained, cross-functional agile team.
• Backend services should be designed, developed, and deployed with a focus on high availability, low latency, and scalability.
• Work closely with the operations and compliance teams to ensure that you are providing for the company's short- and long-term goals in a collaborative manner, distinguishing between what is requested and what is truly required in the domain.

Education, Expertise, and experience requirements:

Competency prerequisites for the applicant:

• You're a fantastic engineer who works with scalable distributed systems in the payment technology field and is fluent in Python.
• We're assuming you're also familiar with Java.
• You consider programming languages to be tools rather than limitations. You have no qualms about stepping outside of your comfort zone.
• You understand and value sound engineering practises such as continuous delivery and automated testing, and you've worked on cloud platforms such as GCP.
• You are enthusiastic about what you do and are interested in learning about current best practices in your field.
• You've worked in the e-commerce, subscription, or payments industries before.
