About the job
As a Fullstack Developer you are part of the development team that works with both new development, further development and 2nd line support around the systems. Our systems are mainly standard systems that we adapt and further develop, but we also have a couple proprietary systems. On a daily basis, it involves work with full stack development where focus is on .Net as well as on frameworks for front-end development, such as React and Angular. You will participate in our ongoing improvement work when it comes to design of IT solutions, development environments and working methods.
Requirements:
To succeed in the role, we are happy to see that you have post-secondary education (preferably computer / systems science background) or equivalent multi-year (+3 years) experience of developing complex and self-developed systems with high accessibility requirements. You are self-driven and used to working independently. You are not afraid to ask for help when you get stuck and are happy to listen when others need you as a sounding board.
You are expected to have technical knowledge of Microsoft products where knowledge in system integration is important part. We are looking for you who have experience of:
- ASP.NET and .Net Core
- REST APIs to be able to develop and manage development
- Tools such as Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, SSMS, Postman or PowerShell
- HTML, CSS, Java Script, JQuery
- SQL Server, T-SQL
Experience of any of the following is not mandatory but very nice seen:
- Web management, knowledge of Sitevision (administration, templates, WebApps and RestApps) and Wordpress, as well as other CMS
- SharePoint Online; administration, implementation, authorization structures, document management and power automate.
- SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and Power BI
- Reporting tools such as Jasper Reports (stud operations)
- Azure Devops
- Knowledge of React and / or Angular
The customer:
The company is a Swedish listed group and has sales of approximately 20 SEK billion, formed by a number of companies, wholly owned or partly owned, which operate in mainly three different areas: shipping, real estate and stud. Each business area is responsible for operating and developing its operations in line with group's values. The largest company within the group has sales of around SEK 15 billion and it consists of several companies operating within both domestic and international markets.
Their main languages are Swedish and English (be able to express themselves in speech and writing).
Their IT department is active in most areas and provides the group with adequate systems and technical support and associated support. The company works mainly in a Windows environment with main technology from Microsoft. The IT department is also responsible for the technical platform and operations both on land and on ships, which means some travel abroad (1-2times per year). In addition, the systems are standard applications that are adapted with ready-made APIs. In the system development group, 2 developers and 2 work trustees work together. Service desk is outsourced (however, they sit inhouse).
