Arriver™ is a new software unit and brand, fully focused on developing perception, fusion and drive policy software for the next generation cars. It will deliver an open, scalable and flexible architecture solution running on Qualcomm® Snapdragon Ride™ System on a Chip (SoC) platform. Arriver™ has 800 people in five countries - China, Germany, Romania, Sweden, USA - and builds on more than a decade of experience in active safety software development. The company is wholly owned by Qualcomm.

In Sweden we are situated in Linkoping, Stockholm, Gothenburg and Lund with around 400 colleagues.

We are Vision Perception

Our Perception strategy is to develop new solutions for the next generation Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS) and Autonomous Driving (AD) on a global market, and to be the leader in Perception and Driver Policy Software.

At our technical center based in Linköping, we are developing world class vision systems for several customers worldwide.

We are now in an expansive phase and are looking for Senior Software Engineers in Development Enablers who can strengthen our organization for ongoing and upcoming collaborative driving projects.

We work in cross functional agile teams consisting of 5-8 members developing tools and functions into our Perception Products. While each team member contributes with their own skills and experience, the team cooperates to perform the different steps in development. The teams are responsible for all steps in development, including system work, implementation, documentation and verification.

Our team innovate at the frontiers of engineering by developing tools used to enable the development of world class AD/ADAS perception software. They do this by utilizing a wide range of areas spanning from big data and simulation technologies to embedded real time systems to be used in vehicles.

What you'll do?

As a System Engineer within Development Enablers you will be part of a passionate team which perform development and ongoing enhancements on the latest tools that support our products from automotive safety industry.

You will perform requirements analysis, design, build, and maintain reliable code, ensure high performance and best quality of applications.

You will work in an Agile environment and actively participate in Scrum practices like standups, planning, retrospective, review, continuous interactions with internal stakeholders and external customers for feedback

What you'll bring?

- You must be able to work autonomously and take initiative
- Have a Master of Science degree, or equivalent studies

Experience that we are looking for

Embedded development with great knowledge in C++ and good knowledge in Experience of compute clusters for both cloud and on-prem
Experience of large code bases
Experience of GPU computation (Cuda, OpenCL)
Experience of Python and C#
Experience of Data management and “Big data”
Experience of software development

We also believe you have an analytical ability and high-quality awareness. As a person, you can lead your own work and the team forward.

You are fluent in English and preferably Swedish.
