Product Designer

Opera is looking for a talented Product Designer to join our Opera Browser team in Gothenburg Sweden. We need a full-stack designer responsible for the UI/UX/Visual design of the Opera Browser on iOS.

Responsibilities

• Explore, innovate and prototype new and existing features.
• Prepare high fidelity mock-ups and UX flows, including necessary specification
• Iterate on ideas and design with PM and team
• Create and/or maintain the product design system
• Follow up with QAs, developers and PM on ensuring product quality
• User research, keep up to date on platform guidelines, technology and design trends to gather new ideas and inspiration

We expect you to have:

• UX/VD Design related studies or background in a relevant area; and/or self-educated if you can showcase a rich experience in your portfolio
• Experience with commercial projects
• A hunger to make improvements, attention to details, empathy for understanding users’ perception of a product
• An open mind to problem-solving, be prepared to create, iterate on and discard your design
• Ability to communicate ideas, explain design choices and argue your case
• Ability to gather feedback and change it into action points
• Flexibility and self-driven personality, well-organised workflow
• Expert with Figma, or similar tools such as Sketch and Adobe CC (Motion design is a plus)
• Fluency in English
• Familiar with iOS Design Guidelines
• An ideal candidate is currently living in Gothenburg or willing to relocate, though we are open to discussing remote positions for the right candidate.
