As an Azure Architect Consultant at Sopra Steria you will be a key part in both delivering projects to our clients as well as the further development of our cloud offering. You will be a key person in the projects you participate in either as a subject matter expert supporting multiple teams or as a technical team lead responsible for your team’s delivery.
As an Azure Architect Consultant at Sopra Steria you will
• Participate in planning and designing of Azure solutions at our customers.
• Work hands on with solutions that utilize the full breadth of the Azure platform with both IaaS and PaaS where Azure AD is central in managing identity and security.
• Coaching the client's organization on how to leverage cloud native and hybrid technology to implement new solutions or migrate existing solutions to Azure.
To succeed you must
• Have strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Have excellent communication skills both verbally and in written text both in Swedish and English.
• Think repetitive tasks are boring so you always try to automate them.
• Be able to translate our clients’ needs into concrete design proposals and implementations.
• Be able to explain complex technical matters to non-technical stakeholders and decision makers.
• Have experience from the IT-consulting industry working in small and large teams.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
• Experience from designing and implementing solutions in the public cloud, taking best practices of Security, Scalability and Performance into consideration.
• Experience in programming and/or scripting languages (Powershell, bash, python etc.)
• Experience from CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps etc.)
• Experience with Infrastructure as code (ARM, Terraform etc.)
• Knowledge and experience of different compute models (virtual machines, containers, functions, serverless) and their applications.
• Knowledge and experience with subscription Governance (Management Groups, Azure policies etc.)
• Familiarity with IP networking concepts such as VPN, DNS, load balancers, firewalling.
• Knowledge and experience with on-premises infrastructure as well as public and hybrid cloud methodologies.
• Knowledge and Experience with Azure AD, OAuth, RBAC and permissions management
• Knowledge of Cloud Security, monitoring and alerting.
• Knowledge and experience of source control management and automated deployments
• Knowledge and experience of containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
• Knowledge and experience of software lifecycle management and how it can be automated.
