Product Development Radio Software

Radio Software strives to be the most competitive Radio Network R&D unit in the industry. We work in an agile set up to develop and maintain competitive, high-quality Radio products which give our customers solutions securing future growth. We develop 5G, LTE, WCDMA, GSM, CDMA Network solutions to operators all over the world. Radio software is part of the Product Development Unit (PDU) Radio, within Development Unit Networks. Radio SW provides possibility to work with the latest technology within telecommunication development and offers a rich number of opportunities in an everyday learning, creative and challenging atmosphere. The Radio SW is developed in Kista, Lund, Nanjing, Chengdu, Beijing, Ottawa and Croatia and we have a great team that uses the time zones and work together. We are now seeking a developer to take on the role as Flow Guardian to support our development with an efficient flow in Continuous Integration.

What you will do

To support our product development, you will be monitoring, and trouble shoot test activities to secure the continues integration flow (BDC/NBC) for all Radio deliveries.

To secure the flow you will be working closely with development teams (SW and HW) to solve issues and lead the work as needed. You will also be the project's representative in meetings following up on flow and TR together with other modules.

You will bring

Education/ Qualifications

  • You have a minimum bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or Wireless Communication or equivalent and
  • A minimum of 2 years of working with software development
  • Basic understanding of network and systems architecture
  • Knowledge of CI, CD, automation testing and related tools

Required competence

  • You contribute with competence in some of the following areas:
  • Good communication skills
  • Verification on Radio Base System (RBS) level or similar
  • Initiative to improve things
  • Test automation, preferably using Java
  • Familiar with Jenkins, GIT, Eclipse
  • Working with Agile/Lean methods
  • Team work & collaboration skills
  • Experience with Java development
  • Collecting, tracking and analysing the radio SW data
  • Software system design, Architecture principles
  • Interest in working with Radio Products and Radio
  • Competence in scripting in order to automate the daily work
