Front-end Engineer

In December 2021, Apptus joined forces with Voyado. This means that we are on an exciting journey with an even more robust product offering, with a quest to expand further in Europe!

We are a fast-growing and fast-moving SaaS company offering retailers to make it easy for their online shoppers to find relevant products. This includes developing functionality such as search and recommendations using advanced AI and speed-optimized algorithms.

We work with many of the leading e-commerce companies in the Nordics and beyond. Our engineering teams are based in Lund and consist of 70+ highly skilled people!

About the Role

As a Front-end Engineer you will work with a tight-knit team of five Front-end Engineers that focus on enabling our teams to deliver high-quality experiences in the main application. Your team will also support our commercial organisation by developing our Storefront which we use as a demo platform in meetings with potential future customers.

Some of the things you will do

- You will work with the Applications & Storefront team in the design, planning and implementation of functionality and features across all our teams
- On a day-to-day basis you will keep our code base up-to-date with a high focus on user experience
- Close collaboration with UX to implement and maintain a consistent design across our web platforms
- Identify, maintain and address our applications functional and performance needs

- We work in sub-teams; each team has full ownership over one domain of our product
- A clear connection between the company vision and daily work, through the use of objectives and team missions
- Code reviews and linting rules. This makes it easy not to merge or deploy broken code

Preferable skills:
You have a genuine interest in tech, you like to try new ways and share your skills and knowledge with your team. We also believe you are a humble team player.

- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and Typescript
- At least 3 years' experience with front-end application development
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Experience with Angular, React, VueJS or equivalent
- Experience with NodeJS and NPM
- Experience in Git
- Business level Swedish and English.

If you also have experience with consumer behaviour in an e-commerce setting, Gitlab and testing your applications then that would be great. If you don’t, you’ll get an opportunity to learn!
