What you will do

You will be have a central and vital role in defining and designing our present and future systems. You will be also involved in design and development of new solutions within Saab and have the opportunity to work with the following tasks. Depending on your experience, you will have the opportunity to be involved as:

An integral part of highly collaborative agile teams with a strong common goal where you will have a clear mission and ownership in making solutions in service for customers around the world

Work on some of the most advanced technologies and solutions in the defence- and civil security industry

Take Saab to the next level of our software journey where much of the ground you will cover will be unexplored

Bring new ideas and innovative thinking as well as spend quality time with our world-class radars
*

Technical leader for development teams
*

Design of solutions
*

Mentoring and guiding development team
*

Demonstration and prototype activities

Who are you?

You are communicative and can explain complex technical concepts in dialogue with both product managers and software developers. You possess strong computer science fundamentals such as: network protocols, API design, programming languages and distributed systems. As a person, you are positive, approachable and enjoy teamwork!

Required skills:

Extensive experience from working with software (preferably Java)
*

Experience in a leading software engineering role
*

Agile software development
