About the position
In the role as Backend Developer, you will take part in building a new system from scratch. As the first person in the team, you will also have to make decisions on tech-stack, architecture, hosting, testing etc., i.e. all the elements needed to build something from scratch. As the system evolves, the team also need to grow, and you will then have the opportunity to become team lead and build your own team.
Initially the role will require you to be on-site at the office, as there is a lot to get to grips with and understand about business processes and other systems. Over time, freedom under responsibility applies and a hybrid model may apply.
Who are you?
We are looking for a communicative, self-going and committed person who is passionate about technology and software development to join our tech team. If you also have an interest in finance, that is considered a big plus.
Qualifications
- You have at least 5 years of relevant working experience
- You have experience of working with Node.js, Java and Typescript
- Experience of working with cloud services such as GCP, Azure and/or AWS
- You have good knowledge of written and spoken English
It is considered a plus if you have experience of working with CI/CD pipelines, integrations or system architecture. We also see experience as a team/tech lead, experience from the financial sector (interest calculations, transactions, account balances etc.) or frontend development experience as meritorious.
