Job Description

IKEA marketing and communications is hiring a software engineer to join IMC 3D centric web solution. We work at the intersection of visual communication and 3D technologies to support our business with the best solution to create communication for the many people. You'll help us develop and design the right solution together with our team of solution architects and products owners.

We are looking for engineers that share our common interest in micro front ends, distributed systems, their scalability, and continued development. You will closely collaborate with our internal teams to figure out the best full-stack design to meet their needs. You will build the systems that power our application, rapidly scale them based on needs and continuously improve our engineering practices.

Qualifications:

• Experience in software development, preferably frontend
• Familiar with the product technical lifecycle
• Experience in the DevOps/agile way of working
• Javascript, TypeScript, React, single-spa, NodeJS, webpack and SCSS
• Interest in micro frontends
• Enjoy solving problems and create efficiency in the development
• Write testable and well-documented code
• Want to work in a team
• Self-development skills to keep up to date with fast-changing trends

You enjoy an agile and iterative, yet structured way of working and achieving results together with a team in a flexible environment, but also have a strong individual drive to deliver high-quality results on time. You have great communication and networking skills and are fluent in written and spoken English.
