About this opportunity

Radio products are key to the Ericsson business and algorithms that handle the hardware characteristics and impairments are important to their performance.

We are now looking for a radio algorithm developer. Mathematics, digital design, software and scripting skills as well as an understanding of air interface performance are some of the competencies we are looking for. Curiosity and interest in these different aspects with deeper knowledge in one or more of the areas are important for you to excel in our team. We believe you are a recently graduated Ph.D. or Master of Science with a few years of experience.

We are organized in development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing are part of the daily work.

What you will do

• Work with a team to ensure a strong radio portfolio through strong filter and radio near algorithms to be used in digital front ends or ADC/DAC converters
• Explore new technology within wireless communication relevant to improving the design
• Understand and specify input requirements, iterate solutions to meet them
• Simulate and dimension filters and radio near algorithms
• Implement the design and verify performance
• Develop tools and prototypes for verification

You will bring

• Education: Ph.D. or a MSc in Wireless communication, Signal processing, Mathematics, or Engineering Physics
• Programming experience: Matlab/C/C++, Python
• Good communication skills
• Strong drive and be flexible
• A deep technical interest
• Radio product development knowledge is not required, but good to have
