Senior Site Reliability Engineer/ DevOps Engineer

Skills

Must:

• 5+ years DevOps experience playing a fundamental role in building infrastructures and environments to assist developers with daily activities.
• Experience working with common DevOps best practices tools including Jenkins/Azure DevOps, K8s, Docker, databases(relational/NoSQL) etc.
• Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines to bridge gaps between development, QA, Support and Business departments. Coding pipelines through Jenkins/Azure DevOps, Terraform or similar.
• Strong experience with managing application lifecycles with automated processes. Experience with working and deploying to OpenStack/AWS/Azure/GCP/Hybrid cloud-based solutions and connecting with databases.
• Experience with automation testing and quality assurance practices.
• Iterate on best practices to increase the quality & velocity of deployments.
• Experience with microservices and cloud based (AWS/Azure/GCP/Hybrid) infrastructures. Commonly using Docker and Kubernetes for building and deploying containerization services.
• Security knowledge / have worked with security topics - Support and work alongside a diverse and cross-functional engineering team on the latest technologies. Good to have:
• Experience working with RabbitMQ or similar messaging services
• Has worked with migrating from older to newer technologies/tools
• Sustain and improve the process of knowledge sharing throughout the engineering team.
• Team player that has passion for learning new technologies and methods to improve productivity for development teams
