About the role
At Zwapgrid, we love to automate business processes by integrating systems, but we also love to automate our engineering processes. We are looking for an experienced software engineer who is able to work with existing applications written in C# and ASP.NET, but who also has experience developing new software according to industry best-practice.
You should be comfortable working in a collaborative environment, contributing to architectural discussions and helping to evolve our ways of working.

About you
- You are a self starter who works well in an agile environment, with a desire to make contributions and improvements to our development environment and practices.
- You have at least 3+ years experience working with C# and .NET Core.
- You are comfortable working within a team of experienced developers to write. high quality clean code, conforming to SOLID principles and with a strong focus on testing.
- Solid understanding of database technologies such as SQL and No-SQL.
- Have worked with Microsoft Azure.
- Have worked with microservices.
- You are security conscious.
Nice to have:
- Experience of domain driven design
- Experience of event driven architecture (e.g. using Apache Kafka)
- Experience with containerisation, and Kubernetes
