Frontend developer to Svea Bank

We are looking for a Frontend developer who wants to be part of our team that is responsible for Svea's internet bank. We work in a complex environment and develop new banking solutions using the latest technologies. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the development of a brand new bank from scratch!

About the role
You will be part of a self-organizing team that works according to the Kanban method in close collaboration with Backend developers, QA, UX designers, Product Owners, and App developers. As a Frontend developer here, you are the one who puts a face on all the applications Svea Bank offers. You work with maintenance of existing code as well as a lot of new development linked to our banking services. Your everyday life in this role consists of:

- Building integrations and collaborating with third-party services such as Swish
- Shaping the requirements from the business and transforming interactive user interfaces
- Updates and further development of new functions
- Implementing and ensuring the best possible code through test automation

Our development environment consists of JavaScript and react, redux, Jest, Cypress, Webpack, Yarn, babel.

Who are we looking for?
To thrive here we think you are a communicative team player, who appreciates working in an agile way. You have a genuine interest and understanding of modern web development and a desire to work with a clean-code approach and in the pursuit of high code quality. You are open to learning and sharing your knowledge within the team and you’re used to putting the user in focus. You have good ability and experience in communicating problems and solutions with a range of different recipients, both tech and non-tech people. During your development journey this far, we believe you have acquired:

- A few years of work experience with JavaScript (or Typescript) and React
- Experience with test automation and its tools such as Jest and/or Cypress
- Good understanding of UX design
- Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written

A plus is if you have good knowledge of functional programming in JS or domain knowledge in banking/fintech.
