Back-End Software Engineer

We are looking for a Back-End Software Engineer who likes to work in a flat-structured, tech driven, friendly and fun environment.

The role, based in Stockholm, involves close collaboration with the Product Management Team as well as fellow engineers and testers. As a Back-End Software Engineer, you will be part of driving the design, coding and shipping of our high quality applications and services. We always strive for a high bar in terms of code quality, unit testing, daily builds and automated runtime monitoring & alerts - and like to see that you do too.

To be successful in this role you voice your opinions, you like to take responsibility for - and influence your own work as well as the company’s effort as a whole.

Ideally experienced in:

• At least 5 years in .NET (preferably C#) or Java
• SQL in daily work for at least 3 years
• SOLID principles and how to apply them
• Software patterns
• The importance of automated tests and how to write unit tests as well as integration tests

Bonus experiences:

• Domain driven development principles and understanding the importance of constraining complexity in large systems
• Have worked with messages queues such as RabbitMQ or MSMQ
• Docker
