Senior Fullstack Developer

A Senior Developer…

• Leads or participates in the design, development, testing, maintenance and support of new and existing solution components
• Leads and provides support to other developers in the company and is assigned technical tasks of all levels of difficulty and complexity and is expected to have the ability to execute these tasks with only minimal supervision or assistance
• Has the ability to work both independently and as part of a team and will actively seek clarification or assistance when required
• Is expected to be able to plan and direct resources based on assigned work packages and timeplans

Areas of responsibility:

• Implementation and maintenance of software solutions
• Writing and maintaining functional and technical documentation
• Writing, maintaining and performing manual and automated tests
• Provide support for delivered software
• Debugging issues in delivered software
• Evaluate and improve performance of delivered software and solutions
• Active participation in or leading meetings with working groups
• Follow and contribute to the improvement of company coding standards and technical processes
• Proactively provide status updates to relevant manager or team lead
• Other tasks within the scope of the employment according to ability and the needs of the employer

Required skills / knowledge

• JavaScript / Node.js: 5+ years of experience
• React: 3+ years of experience
• RESTful APIs (Design & Implementation): 3+ years of experience
• Cloud deployed solutions (AWS/GCP/Azure): 2+ years of experience
• Git

• Automated testing
• CI/CD pipelines
• GCP
• Terraform / infrastructure-as-code
• Docker / containerd
• JIRA
• SQL

Stockholm, Sweden (In-office / hybrid)

Most of us work in a hybrid fashion with set days each week when the whole tech team works from the office.

We are currently not recruiting for remote positions.

About Easy Peasy

Easy Peasy Insurance is an insurance broker focusing on embedded insurance. Using our in-house developed platform we provide our insurance offering to the customers of our retail partners.

Easy Peasy Insurance is a relatively early stage start-up and this also describes the technology group. We are not yet at the point where the single team is broken up into several with more focused responsibilities but rather there is a team that maintains and develops our infrastructure platform, develops the software and provides 2nd level support. Everyone on the team is not expected to be able to do all of these things, there are defined roles, but all team members are encouraged to grow, learn and understand technologies and processes adjacent to their current roles.
