C/C++ Developer to nWise in Uppsala

Who are we?

nWise works to improve accessibility when it comes to communication. We do this through the global supply of IT solutions for accessible telephone calls, making a difference to people’s daily lives.

Through our platform, MMX, we are able to provide a number of communication solutions. Everything from simpler call center setups, text and video phone apps, to advanced solutions for critical emergency services calls for the Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing community.

The platform is under stringent reliability and quality requirements, and we now want to reinforce our development team with a C/C++ Developer, at our office in central Uppsala.

Who are you?

We’re looking for someone curios and driven, preferably with experience from several different technology stacks and operating environments. Extra valuable is if you have experience of audio/video and/or VoIP/SIP. At nWise, you will work in a small development group that is responsible for both new development and management of a large family of products built with different technologies. This means that everyone helps to achieve the group´s goals, but where you will focus on and be responsible for the part that is based on C/C++.
For you to thrive, it is important that you are interested in system development in a broader perspective, to be able to help where it is needed, when it is needed.

You should be a good team player and want to create an open and trusting workplace together with your co-workers. Our entire work ethic is built on problem solving and commitment.

We’re looking for someone with experience of structuring and developing applications in C/C++.

You should be competent in both spoken and written Swedish and English.

It’s also beneficial if you have experience of:

- agile working methods
- experience of audio/video and/or VoIP/SIP
- experience of working with containers, Docker, Kubernetes etc
- We believe that you have a university or college education in Computer/ Systems science or similar.
