The Analytics team delivers reports to support business decisions and works closely with Kognity’s various Business functions. We're a team of 3 today, and we have an opportunity for a Senior Data Engineer to design and build a reliable data foundation.
How you’ll make your mark…
- Assessing our current data model and proposing improvements
- Designing, implementing and maintaining data pipelines to form the data foundation
- Optimizing and leveraging on the chosen platform landscape (Fivetran, Airflow, dbt, BigQuery)
- Setting-up robust governance processes to ensure data quality and security
- Maintaining an overview of our data sources, pipelines and models
We value…
- Expertise in database design, data modelling and integration methods
- Experience with a cloud-based data platform (AWS Redshift, GCP/BigQuery, Azure data lake or something similar)
- ELT or ETL experience
- SQL and Python coding proficiency
- Awareness of agile methodologies, development processes and version handling
