About the role
We are looking for a Data Engineer who will be responsible for maintaining and developing our data collection pipeline and integrations. In this role you will make data accessible to other teams and ensure our data is secured as well as exploring ways to enhance data quality and reliability. As our Data Engineer you will also have the opportunity to identify opportunities for data acquisition and interpret trends and patterns. In this role you will work closely with our Data Analyst and be able to influence the architecture of how we set things up as well as how we work.
We don’t have many legacy systems to deal with and have invested the last year in establishing a modern commercial tech stack. This gives us time to spend on building customer experiences rather than spending time on maintaining integrations. As a team we stay lean and autonomous by being cross functional which enables us to analyse, design, build and launch new features on our own.
As far as the technical competences we believe you have:
- 1+ years of experience of Data Engineering
- A degree in a relevant field
- Experience of: - Google Cloud Platform
- SQL and Database Management
- Python
It’s a big bonus if you have:
- Experience in Back End development
- Any relevant certifications, such as the Google Data Engineering Certificate
