System Engineer (Automotive)

Role Description

You will primarily work as a consultant on assignments at different OEMs in the Gothenburg area as a System Engineer / Function Owner. In this role you will take the lead in driving an area for an OEM, where you will be involved in determining new software functions and system solutions.

You may also work on our own products within Nebula Automotive between assignments.

Your focus areas will be

It will depend on the need described by the OEMs of the consultant assignment but typically will be:

• Define and work with the function implementation plan
• Document and understand unique software functions/applications
• Determine and define system and software requirements

Required qualifications

• · Minimum Batchelor of Science degree
• · 3+ years of automotive industry experience
• · Previous experience as system engineer / function design

Meritorious qualifications

• · Experience working in an agile framework
• · Experience in electromobility
• · Software developer experience
• · Autosar experience
• · Knowledge of various automotive network protocols such as CAN/CAN FD, LIN, SOMEIP, etc.
• · C/C++, Python, Java
• · Matlab / Simulink
• · Enterprise Architect
• · System Safety experience, ISO 26262
