Team System Manager to 5G Session Control Plane

About this opportunity

The main Purpose of the TSM is to provide System Management support to the Cross-functional software design teams (XFT) during the feature development lifecycle (F1-F4) and to support the Operational Product Owner (OPO) with prioritizing the feature backlog from a technical perspective.

What you will do

• Be part of an experienced XFT within Session Control Plane of 5G Packet Core. The epicenter of 5G mobile data.
• Refine, break down and update Requirement Specifications, Statement of Compliances and Customer Product Information from a feature perspective.
• Ensure relevant system artifacts are reviewed and approved before finalizing a feature.
• Explain feature requirements to the XFT, to ensure the right implementation.
• Set requirement attributes, which enables traceability to test cases.
• Contribute to Test Analysis, securing relevant test activities for feature requirements.
• Propose, review and approve CPI on feature level.
• Prepare/involved in Feature Study for next coming feature.
• Respond to System Management Q&A related to developed and ongoing feature(s) upon request.
• Present the feature and its benefits to stakeholders (incl. Delta Presentation).

You will bring

• We’re looking for a candidate who enjoys working in a team and also is comfortable working with external interfaces to iron out requirements with various stakeholders.
• The TSM also contributes to the daily work of the XFT with design (architecture), development (C++) and test (Google Test Suite, TTCN, python).
• You are familiar with the Telecom 4G/5G control plane interfaces and can navigate RFCs to align customer needs and requirements with standardized protocols & formats as well as expected network behaviour.
