Frontend Developer with Trading Optimisation

About the role

You will be a part of the team that delivers automation of the physical power trading and dispatching of the power fleet. That brings you to the center of our core business and your work will impact how the electricity market works now and in the future, which have never been more important!

The team operates according to agile development methodologies and works in close collaboration with the product owners throughout the whole development life-cycle. We build services and features with high focus on usability and user experience to support our employees working in a complex environment.

As a frontend developer you work closely with business and design to find the best ways to increase usability and efficiency of our tools and ways of working. You use your technical skills and understanding of the domain to deliver visualisations and workflows that make the complex seem easy.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with your team to design and implement frontend applications focused on user experience and efficiency
• Full development life-cycle responsibility, from conceptualizing through to daily operations
• Ensure good code quality confirmed by proper testing and static analysis metrics
• Ensure that features and services developed are performant and scalable

What we are looking for

• You are a multi-skilled and solution-oriented person with a positive can-do attitude
• Like working cross-functionally in a fast-moving international environment
• Excellent communicative skills and a strong sense of ownership
• Have responsibility appreciating the freedom to be in control of your own time and effort
• Are proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript and React
• Are used to working in an agile development environment
• An appropriate university-level education
• When you speak and write in English, you do so with high confidence
