Software Engineer

We are looking for a Software Engineer to strengthen our development team that designs Xylem’s next generation controllers and the ecosystem around it.

Controllers are core components supporting and securing that our customers have a reliable process running with high energy efficiency. Smart feature from machine to cloud ensures economy over their entire lifespan. This role will require you to work closely together with Product Owners and Test Engineers. The team is located at our Head Quarter in Sundbyberg with close cooperation with our manufacturing site in Emmaboda.

Responsibilities
You will work as part of a cross functional team to develop and deliver our innovative control features to the latest version of our products and our platform. This will include visiting customer sites and work in our lab to understand the requirements of upcoming features.

Also work in close corporation with our electronics team and assist them with board bring-up, Production test and EMC test software.

* Experience in advanced firmware programming

* MSc level in Computer Science or equivalent level of knowledge

* Excellent knowledge in general purpose programming languages such as C/C++ and Python

* Knowledge in Linux environment

* Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English

* Experience working in git
