The Geely Business Center is a competence center of the Geely Sweden Holdings group- and provides specialist competences and shared services for the companies in the holding group.

Job description:

The purpose of the position of IT Network Specialist is to work in the GBC IT Operations team, planning, building, and maintaining our network infrastructure as well as supporting our 1st and 2nd line support team. GBC operates in Sweden, China, and Europe

Responsibilities and tasks:

You will work firsthand with all infrastructure areas with both partners to GBC as well as internal teams as well as deliver and take lead for planning of updates and security updates for the devices that are related to the delivery. You will also help to educate 1st and 2nd line support in advance troubleshooting in related areas, be a resource in projects for GBC and the customer's network to make them align with the future of IT and the customers need, be responsible for the delivery of upgrades/updates together with other teams, work with business requirements for purchasing of related equipment, work tightly together with the security team to ensure that the area follows the security guidelines, as well as work with documentation and KB articles for servicedesk and business to deliver solutions that fit the need of the business and the supportability from servicedesk.

The GBC infrastructure team is part of an AGILE organization which means that you will be responsible to report and document your work in JIRA and participate in Dailys and SCRUM meetings

Requirements:

We see that you have a university degree or 5 years' of equivalent experience as well as at least 2-3 years of experience within the responsibility areas. You should have experience from working with Cisco and/or Huawei campus infrastructure and management, both wired and wireless. We also believe it is important that you have good documentation skills. We want you to be fluent in English, both spoken and written, and it's meritorious if you're also proficient in Swedish.

It's also meritorious if you have experience from the following areas:

- Campus Networks (wired and wireless)
- Cisco ISE (802.1X)
- Firewalls and VPN
- Automation (Cisco DNA Center, Ansible)
- Scripting (Powershell, Python)
- IP Routing and routing protocols (BGP and OSPF)
- Load balancing (Citrix ADC)
- Cloud Networking (Azure, AWS etc)
- VMware ESXi and NSX
- Previous experience of working in a culturally diverse environment
