We are undoubtedly a fast-growing B2B company that continues to grow by, on average, 200% every year. BoardClic is currently active in the Nordics, the UK and Italy. Our goal is to launch in two more markets within five months, and this fall, we will also establish a sales office in London.

Are you ready to be a part of this?

Our Story

The mission of BoardClic is to build sound companies and trust in leaders in executive functions through vertical and horizontal alignment, actionable insights and continuous evaluation of performance.

BoardClic puts the G in ESG, with data-driven, cost- and time-efficient tools to track effectiveness and alignment in Boards of Directors and Executive teams. Smart, user-centric evaluations based on decades of experience and behavioural science bring transparency and simplicity into the space of sound corporate governance.

We are looking for international expansion in highly regulated sectors and countries from a corporate governance point of view. The geographical focus of the project will be global.

We're in a sweet spot where we've found a good fit in the market and where the business-related parts of the company will focus on growth - the product team will focus on creating more value for customers and quality-related work to help automate and improve both internal and external processes.

You can also visit our new tech blog http://techblog.boardclic.com/ where you will find exciting tech topics with some extra focus on elixir, phoenix and application development. Maybe you also like to contribute to the tech blog as our new colleague?

Role and responsibilities

As a Software Developer, you'll be a valued member of BoardClic's growing development team. This includes planning and implementing new features while ensuring our current ones continue to bring value to our customers. Day-to-day work includes concepts like TDD, pair programming, code reviews, quality improvements, implementing new, and maintaining old features.

We're currently in the process of migrating our legacy app built on top of Angular and Ruby on Rails to a new platform built around Elixir and Phoenix, where we're happily using technologies such as Phoenix Live View Tailwind CSS.

We believe that you're someone who strives for improvement and enjoys seeing products come to life.

Your curiosity makes you want to dig deeper where a satisfying answer is the only cure to your thirst.

Since many of our processes are based on text, we hope you're a good communicator and writer. Not an award-winning novelist but someone who can express themselves well enough to explain a somewhat complex matter in a way a 5-year-old could comprehend.

Requirements

  • At least 3 + years of professional experience within a team of developers
  • Experience with Elixir
  • Consider yourself to be able to handle a full stack
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational database
  • Basic knowledge of git and processes around GitHub (PR-workflows)
  • Experience with test-driven development

It would be great if you have

  • A strong advocate for TDD
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails
  • Experience with Angular
  • Contributions to open source
  • Experience with machine learning

In return, we offer you

To be a part of the BoardClic team, you have the excellent opportunity to become part of a fast-growing and innovative company and gain deep insights into the exciDon'tworld of international business at the highest level.
