We are growing one of our engineering teams, and looking for our new mid-level fullstack engineer to our Stockholm office. You will be part of our hybrid workplace, which means you will be working partly remotely and at the office.

What is Hive Video Optimization Team?  

The Optimization team provides Hive Streaming’s software-only enterprise video distribution core technology, with the goal of maximizing reach and quality of streaming video communications for our customers. You will be working closely with your team members, a cross-functional team of skilled engineers that helped building our core video distribution solution and ship it to hundreds of customers and millions of machines.

Working as a Fullstack Engineer, you will

- Contributing to improve our browser-based peer-to-peer video distribution software and algorithms
- Building high-availability cloud services in Scala and Typescript

- Improve our tools for monitoring our algorithms performance in production.
- Sharing responsibility with the team in the ownership of our product.
- Contributing and shaping the tech stack and our product.

Previous Experience

- 5+ years of working experience as a Full Stack Engineer.

- Proficient in JavaScript and Typescript.
- Experience in Java and/or Scala.
- Great communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
