SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
In this role you will represent a cross functional team in different contexts and make sure things does not fall between the cracks but, very importantly, build team-responsibility - you are accountable for the team, not responsible for doing everything.
You love working with people and see collaboration as one of the biggest success factors. NOT doing pair programming in a day can, by your definition, never be a great day. You are humble, open to new ideas, dig the concept of full-stack and are the true Engineer - you choose the technology och process based on what is best for the company - not based on any personal preferences.
This is a mixed role. You have some experience in leading teams along with being a passionate engineer and love the mix. You have several years of experience when in comes to
- Backend and/or mobile technologies
- Engaging teams from a technical and agile perspective
- Understanding business needs
- Understanding how teams and individuals grow
Our techstack consists of Go in the backend (cloud based micro services running on Heroku and AWS) and Swift/Kotlin in the mobile apps. No worries if you don’t master these technologies yet - we will share our knowledge with you.
As important as your will and curiosity to learn is your will to share and make the team enthusiastic about your knowledge. You are the pragmatic programmer - you understand that the perfect technical solution in some cases has to take a step back for the business - even if your role of course will be to advocate for the team's wellbeing and highlight potential risks.
If you have previous experience in fintech it’s a plus, but don’t hesitate if you do not - as the right candidate you will pick up the domain fast enough.
