As part of the Experience Design team, you will gather research data and capture meaningful and significant metrics to validate the UX of our products and services.

Your responsibility will be to identify pain points and understand customer/user’s motivations, then leverage this knowledge to research the best possible solutions, while supporting the team to create user flows, design mock-ups, low and high-fidelity UIs, and develop functional prototypes. You will explore various user research techniques and validate every design assumption.


About the team

We are a multicultural UX team of 30+ passionate minds – designers, researchers and developers - with designs spanning across the entire corporate portfolio. We support diverse projects and assist various teams around the world. We work in a hybrid setup, combining remote working days and office days in Kista (Stockholm), Sweden.

We are recognized for our excellence in brand design and user experience implementation, winning Red Dot and iF Design awards.


This position reports to the Head of the Experience Design team at Ericsson Digital Services.


You will

  • Collaborate with UX and product teams to define user experience goals and metrics, and to determine priorities for resolution of usability problems
  • Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative user behavior through benchmark and field studies, analytics, usability tests and surveys
  • Identify quantitative markers of user experience and support their application across product teams
  • Drive UX assessments of our product portfolio
  • Take a leadership role in guiding the teams in the design & development of world class UX
  • Help inspire change by communicating findings to stakeholders in the company
  • Participate with our Experience Design team in defining/refining UX strategy and ways and working for our business unit

Who you are

  • You have a degree or higher in Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Social Science, or a related discipline.
  • You have 3+ years of industry work experience in an applied research setting
  • You are comfortable planning, scoping, conducting, analyzing and communicating research, independently and as part of a team
  • You are self-motivated, willing to be challenged by management, experts, development teams and customers
  • You are comfortable helping others from related fields develop their research expertise
  • A research experience in enterprise/business software, developer tools, IT, or other systems is a plus
