Tester

Veritaz is a fast-growing IT-consultant firm. Our company is made up of insanely bright people from over 4 countries, and we are located in Sweden, UK, US and Pakistan. The voyage has been incredible this far, but it is only the beginning.

We are recruiting a tester to contribute with your experiences to continuously improve the requirements towards our vendors for current and future products and services. Your tasks will be very diverse since you will cover both operative and maintenance tasks.

What you’ll do:

· Carrying out Test management, test design and testing for the products being developed.

· Developing test plans, creating and running both scripted test cases and exploratory tests.

· Implement checks for defects, documenting test results and coordinating with stakeholders regarding proposed solutions for defects fixing.

· Ensure service is working flawlessly from an IP point of view, as well as security, resiliency, privacy, and integrity points of view.

· Following up that the services are delivered with the required quality of service to the end users.

· Provide “3rd line” support on call services and troubleshooting and fixing problems found by customers or customer support organizations.

· Work with coding, security, IP, data-driven analytics a.k.a. bid data, home routers and Wi-Fi technologies, media distribution, Content Management and Content Distribution Networks (CDNs).

· Coordinate with IT, product and Business Management, Sourcing Management, legal, privacy and security departments within the Networks department.

Who you are:

· Academic Engineering/MSc degree on data/electronics with specialization on TV devices and networking, SW/HW testing and troubleshooting.

· • Good understanding or Digital Home and TV home network environments (LAN), and home network equipment, including Wi-Fi networks and large screen devices (Samsung, Android and iOS).

· Prior experience from similar roles along with proficiency in verbal and written communication skills of English and Swedish language.

· Technological experience with IP Networks, programming languages of C/C++/Perl/Python/SQL/Java/Linux, network security.
