We are currently looking for a Software Application Developer for our office in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Position Overview:

You will join the team that develops and maintains our Optimization as a service offering. This is an effort to enable a service architecture for our Crew Pairing, Crew Rostering, Tail Assignment, Aircraft Routing, Flight Scheduling, Flight Planning, Ops Control and Crew Tracking optimizers. The focus of this position is on the technology around services, so a background in combinatorial optimization or knowledge of the aviation industry is not required.

The OaaS team will work together with optimization development teams and teams implementing Software as a service for other parts of the system. The work will involve developing interfaces and maintain deployments of various kinds. We manage our kubernetes deployments through helm, so a good knowledge of both is required. Our cloud providers at the moment are AWS and IBM cloud. Experience with both is preferred, with preference to AWS.

Experience with security is meriting.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Development and maintenance of service deployments in AWS.
  • Creation and maintenance of docker images.
  • Development and maintenance of helm charts.
  • Maintenance of service deployment in IBM.
  • Development, maintenance and monitoring of Kubernetes klusters in AWS, IBM and on premise.
  • Development and maintenance of GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
  • Definition and development of the OaaS architecture.
  • Security analysis.
  • Assisting customer support/providing second line support.

Typical Education/Experience

Technical bachelor’s degree and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or a Master’s degree with typically 3 or more years’ or a PhD degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
