At Quinyx we believe building quality is the base for software development, and our QA Testers and Automation Engineers play a key role in it: being part of our agile development teams, taking responsibility for developing built-in test approaches, solving challenging testing problems and developing automation frameworks that enable our teams to deliver high quality software at speed. We want to grow our QA capability and are looking for a variety of world-class talent for agile testing positions.

We are now looking for a talented QA Engineer. Our development team consists of a great mix of Software Developers, QA Engineers and Usability Experts. Our team builds our JavaScript platform and applications. The development is based on, but not limited to, technologies such as Node.js, Babel, React and Flux implementations; leveraged by tools such as Webpack, Gulp, SASS, Karma and Phabricator.Our backend is a REST API built on Java 8 that also exposes some of the legacy API’s that have yet to be converted.

Your role at Quinyx!

In the role of a QA Engineer you will be working in an agile team with highly versatile and diverse colleagues. The team enjoys an autonomous way of working and continuously strives to improve its own processes, tooling options and skills (through “Hack time” every Friday, “Tech lunches” etc).

The platform, built on the latest technologies is expected to be fast, modularized and backed with a high degree of test-coverage and automation. Enabling effortless development and - both technical as well as product - adaptability.

What you'll do!

• Work with Product Owners and Developers to reduce risk and improve quality
• Help designing and writing test automation frameworks for our testers and developers… Fast-feedback is the key!
• Influence how teams design and build products to be testable, reliable and performant
• Drive the improvement of Continuous Delivery methodologies to enable faster deployments while still increasing the quality of our deliverables
• Collaborate with the rest of the QA team to develop built-in quality strategies
• Learn new technologies and have the opportunity to move between technical and product domains

Skills!

• Several years of experience in creating GUI test automation frameworks with Selenium WebDriver and other relevant tools (Sikuli, FlexMonkey, AutoIt, Robot, etc.)
• Hands-on experience in Agile Testing, working in either standalone or federated QA teams
• Experience in TDD, BDD, pair programming and other test and development techniques
• Solid knowledge in code design in OOP (at Quinyx we mostly use Java, PHP and JS)
• Experience in both manual and automated testing of mobile applications, both native and web-based
