Digital Designer

Are you the supportive and inspiring person with passion for UX design we´ve been looking for?!

As a Digital Designer you will support our Onboard Experience Content & Communication team with creative and technical skills to produce digital media and overall UX design in multiple channels throughout the customer journey onboard our vessels.

As member of an agile cross functional scrum team, you develop outcomes that matter to our customers based on customer insights and operational needs. We develop and deliver digital products, according to our roadmap and prioritized product backlog.

Some of your key responsibilities:
- Design, produce and publish engaging and user-friendly content to multiple channels in compliance with our brand and visual guidelines
- Support other product teams regarding digital design, UX design, template design and interior design
- Conduct and coordinate product photo sessions including editing of video and photo content.
- Track new content trends and technologies to ensure that Stena Line’s output remains cutting edge
- Gather user insights by planning and conducting user research. Invite internal and external team members to join
- Collaborate closely with the product team, the Product Owner and key stakeholders throughout the design process; be transparent and regularly share design iterations to get feedback and maintain a shared vision of the design direction
- Maintain a close dialogue with the Brand & Communication department
- Prepare manuals and other documentation on the product catalog and digital concepts
- Occasionally travel with vessels to develop new concepts, train and support onboard teams
- Take part of refits and installations onboard our vessels and in terminals
- Collaborate with the Content Managers and support them during the campaign cycle

Your team will consist of you, a product owner and two content managers.

Qualifications:
- Relevant university degree or equivalent
- Professional experience from within the design/UX area
- Graphic design skills, Adobe Suite
- Basic creative copywriting skills
- Content management system experience
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
