Software Security (Expert)

Background

We are now searching for a Software engineer that can contribute to our Software development projects within Software Security area.

- In this team we are focusing on providing the development teams with the right DevSecOps tools and mindset in Software Security. Since we have close interactions with the development teams and the engineers we need to have people in our team with strong knowledge both when it comes to the general software lifecycle as well as software development.
- We also have multiple development projects within Software Security team to support different Cyber Security initiatives for which we need to have software development expertise in our own team as well.

The scope of the Services

We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic Software Engineer who is passionate about quality & security and is enthusiastic about software architecture and quality assurance. The person chosen for this position will have the opportunity to contribute their creative ideas and energy to the Software Security team and to the Software Development teams.

Daily duties will include:

- Design, develop and integrate software solutions for strategic security challenges.

- Develop and improve strategies together with other Cyber Security teams and other enterprise infrastructure teams on how to integrate security practices and strategies into software development.
- Develop secure proof of concepts and templates.

- The primary focus will be in the Metal Model App development, but we aim to be a cross functional team so involvement in other software security development areas will be encouraged.

What we hope that you bring to the table: - Experience in software architecture.
- Experience in software development in several languages, preferably with CI/CD knowledge as well.
- Experience in cloud native applications and preferably Google Cloud.
- Experience in software security - either by similar software/application security positions or experience developing and building secure software.
- Demonstrated ability to identify process gaps, make recommendations for improvement and work to resolve those gaps.
