Uppsala Monitoring Centre (UMC) is recruiting Full Stack System Developers to join our agile development teams.

If you want to advance medicines safety globally by creating fit-for-purpose solutions, then this is the right job for you. Together with your colleagues, you will help develop and maintain systems and solutions that will provide people with safer medicines and a better quality of life.

As part of one of UMC’s development teams, you will specify, design, build and implement existing and new solutions. Building and testing automation is also an important part of the development team’s responsibilities. You have a passion for programming, are committed to quality and finding solutions in collaboration with your team members. As a developer you are also analytical and naturally curious about understanding the entire tech stack. We believe that you have previous system development experience to be able to focus on learning our domain.

- Design, implement, and test solutions
- Maintain and optimize new and existing solutions
- Deliver high quality and well-structured code
- Share knowledge and help colleagues

- Domain Driven Design
- Microsoft tech stack, eg .NET, C# and F#
- Frontend experience in eg Angular and React
- Microsoft Azure Platform
- Ability to work with all layers of an application

Uppsala Monitoring Centre (UMC) is a centre for international service and scientific research in the field of pharmacovigilance. We are the WHO Collaborating Centre for International Drug Monitoring, and manage the technical and operational aspects of the WHO Programme for International Drug Monitoring since 1978.

As an independent, non-profit foundation, we support the World Health Organization, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders who share our vision of advancing medicines safety. Through research and development of new scientific methods, we explore the benefits and harms of medicines for patients, and offer products and services used by health authorities and the pharmaceutical industry worldwide.
