Senior Software Test and Verification Engineer (iOS)

About the role

As a Senior Software Test and Verification Engineer (iOS), you will be a part of a cross-functional team using agile methodology to create software applications. You will drive the quality assurance activities through testing and verification, working closely with developers, designers, and product owners. You will support continuous integration processes to ensure our products meet requirement and design specifications.

Essential Duties and responsibilities

- Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle with a quality perspective
- Develop manual and automated test cases to cover design input and define test activities suitable for different situations
- Create relevant test strategy and test design for different level of the products
- Create and maintain all test and verification artifacts (specifications and reports)
- Execute manual testing on all our product platforms (i.e., Windows/iOS apps)
- Perform test planning and contribute with release activities
- Write detailed and clear problem reports and provide information to analyse and prioritize them by severity and impact and help to find the root cause of issues
- Participating in design discussions
- Participating in activities for improving engineering practices, tools, infrastructure and other quality system processes and deliverables

Who are you?

- More than 8 years of test and verification of software applications, including knowledge of strategy and planning methods.
- ISTQB certification is required.
- Bachelor´s or master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Fluid English.

We are looking for someone who has

- Equipped with excellent problem-solving skills and you pay attention to detail with a strong focus on quality 
- You should be the hub in the team meaning that it is you that is talk to the product owner, the developer, and the designers to collect information.
- Working effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Experience with automation testing frameworks and CD/CI
- Experience with testing and automation tools
- Experience with Software application (Windows-based products and iOS)
- Experience with application lifecycle management, change management and issue tracking tools
- A basic understanding of programming concepts and languages such as C# and Swift are not required but an advantage
- Previous experience with safety critical software development
- Knowledge about standards and regulatory requirements
- Experience with non-functional (security/performance/usability/maintainability) testing is required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
