Are you constantly trying to optimize your daily routines? Then we are the team for you. In the Propulsion SW factory, we work daily with automating our SW integration and deployment framework. Putting a high focus on what makes our customers experience better every day!

At the Propulsion SW Factory we are responsible for the CI/CD Pipeline for the Powertrain and Electromobility products. We are a small team with a lot of freedom, working both with developing new ideas on how to make the pipeline more efficient and maintaining a growing flora of systems. We are part of Electrics & Electronics of Powertrain Engineering. We are located in Sweden Lundby but we have connections with all GTT sites.

There are over 500 developers using our tool and flow and this is growing. The challenges you will face are, continue the automation mission for the entire delivery of SW to customer over the air, to expand our feature offering on testing and simulation framework for our Software engineers users to be more efficient in their daily work.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Jenkins/Bitbucket based SW Factory
Develop and maintain SW Integration pipeline including building SW, running unit tests and Matlab simulations, running HW tests
Develop scripts using Python or Bash for the CI/CD pipeline
Lead initiatives & improvement work in SW Factory area

Qualifications

Who are you?

You are a SW developed interested in devops and CI. You like improvements and are perhaps developing your own scripts on the side to make your daily life easier. You are helpful to others, assisting with your knowledge in systems and tools. You also like to work with different things and easily learn new systems and solutions.

Requirements, experiences needed:

Knowledge in programming Python and scripting in Bash or similar
Hands on experience on Continuous Integration or devops using Jenkins & Bitbucket is a plus
SW Development Experience within Volvo, a very big advantage
Knowledge in programing embedded real time systems in C is a plus
Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written
The job requires both autonomy and ability to work in a team
You should be open-minded and pro-active, structured and a drive to take the lead improvements
