Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.

We are looking for an experienced .Net developer to join us in building and supporting one of Scania’s most important systems for Scania Assistance.

You will join a small team of developers working agile in close cooperation with the business at large. You will have the possibility to work within the entire system development process, from concept development to implementation and production. With focus on business continuity we are moving towards cloud (AWS) with a CI/CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment) focus. You will work on continuous system improvements in order to streamline processes and assist users' needs.

Your role

• Building new features and integrations within both .NET onboarding applications, as well as maintenance and support of existing components
• Working agile in a team to deliver high-quality technical solutions and architecture
• Work across our entire tech stack, collaborating on cloud-, mobile- and web solutions
• Be a technical go-to person and collaborate across teams to align on architecture and cross-cutting matters
• Analyze and implement integrations within existing internal applications and tools

Your skills

• Solid experience in C# and .NET (framework or core) development
• Good understanding of clean code principles
• Experience in microservices or serverless architectures (knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes) will be an asset
• Experience in writing effective unit and integration tests
• Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Understanding of common Linux or Windows development tools, such as GIT, GitLab, and Jenkins.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure and virtualization.
• Both self-driven and able to work in teams

It's a real plus if you

Have experience with developing and hosting SaaS solutions on AWS, setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and previous experience in taking architectural responsibilities in projects.
