About the team

At Avanade we are divided into several Talent Communities and the Software Engineering Talent Community is where you will join! Our local team in Sweden currently consists of 45+ community members from various background, competencies and level of experience. Our areas of expertise span through many skill sets including but not limited to Full-stack, Front-, Back-end developers, Application Architects, Business Analyst, Scrum Masters and Design Thinkers which enables us to cover and deliver all parts of modern application development focusing on .NET development and Azure services following DevOps principles. When we want to get to the details in our area of competence, we organize in smaller groups we call Role Families to get the knowledge sharing going and to explore new technology and industries applicable to our skill.

Occasionally we collaborate with members from other Talent Communities, in example the Infrastructure Talent Community and the Analytics Talent Community. This opens for a lot of learning and development opportunities within other areas as well as our own. The Talent Community is where you will belong and we focus on the people, sharing our knowledge and success while having fun together, this is done regularly in team meetups in the office as well as online.

Your normal day at Avanade & day-to-day Activities

As a Software Developer you will support the creation of custom solutions for our clients and their customers through designing, building, testing and deploying across services and applications with the Microsoft technology at its core. As an experienced developer you will be part of defining a projects technical and functional design, working in collaboration with Technical leadership and Analysts, and from time to time lead and facilitate a development team.

• Develop innovative solutions using the latest Web and Microsoft technologies following DevOps principles
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts and the scrum master in your team to build new digital experiences
• Develop solutions throughout the stack of models ranging from Frontend to deep backend integrations
• Collaborate and communicate with clients and stakeholders to ensure delivery of quality in our projects
• Contribute to our team culture of the Software Engineers TC through knowledge sharing and supporting your colleagues while having fun together, sharing our stories and success!

Is this you or could it be you with the help of our unlimited learning? 

• Do you have minimum of 5 years of experience in web development with the Microsoft stack of technology and have a mindset of creating sustainable and scalable solutions?

• Do you have both and back-end (.NET, SQL, Azure PaaS) and front-end experience (HTML, CSS, React, Angular)?

• Have you worked with DevOps and Agile principles. TDD / DDD / SOLID / CI / CD and other patterns and practices?

• Do you have experience building solutions in Azure and have experience with the various services Azure has to offer?

• Do you thrive in an organization with real passion for collaboration, business and changing things for the better?

• Do you want to be part of a diverse development team and perhaps lead a team of developers?

• Are you analytical and enthusiastic, full of curiosity and drive, and have an eye for business?
