Senior Data Visualization Engineer

Job Description:

Working in a talented cross- functional team, you will play a key role in the development of Dashboards, tools and analytical products to deliver insight and business information.

We’re looking for a Data Visualization Engineer to help us deliver groundbreaking new Dashboards and tools and support our suite of artisan built products and front end tools. If you’re excited by pushing the boundaries of visualization in business intelligence and reporting then this is the role for you!

We are a complete end to end Data Warehouse team given autonomy to design and build products to help our business users understand and make decisions on our high volume data.

Your Role Within Our Kingdom:

• You are a developer with a genuine interest in developing both your code and design skills
• 
  
• Build new Dashboards using our in- house framework
• Support our current suite of Dashboards
• Work with our Principal data visualization engineer on developing our framework
• Contribute to our front end design strategy
• Contribute to the design of innovative data visualizations
• Translate designs into functioning, pixel- perfect code
• Support our web tools

Skills to create thrills

• Knowledge of Javascript and/or Typescript
• 
  
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS
• An appreciation for design and a desire to make your work fit design specifications
• Awareness of data visualization best practices

Bonus points

• Experience with React, Next.js or another frontend framework (Angular, Svelte, etc.)
• 
  
• Experience with a data visualization library (echarts, highcharts, etc.)
• Familiarity with any of:
• SQL
• node.js
• Web graphics APIs (SVG, canvas, etc.)
• WebGL
• d3.js
• cloud computing
