Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Tester who is experienced in IP networks, C/C++/Perl/Python/SQL/Java/Linux and ensure that tests are carried out in a way that guarantees high quality in delivered products.

What you'll do:

● Identify and develop test cases and conduct system tests and system integration tests.

● Troubleshooting and analysis of defects, report bugs and support business in acceptance testing.

● Creating test scenarios for software usability and running manual tests.

● Preparing reports on the effectiveness and defects to the production team.

● Work with the team and vendors to secure that the service is working flawlessly for the small screen device segment, all from an IP point of view, as well as security, resiliency, privacy, and integrity point of view.

● Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.

● Working one-on-one with the client to understand the requirements.

● Perform static and dynamic code testing, manual code inspection, threat modelling, and design reviews to identify vulnerabilities and security defects.

Who you are:

● Have a master’s degree in Electrical, Computer science, Data science, or equivalent area of education and must have relevant working experience.

● Experience and very good knowledge of troubleshooting and reading and understanding error logs.

● Possess good knowledge and experience of writing database queries and using database tools.

● At least three years of experience in identifying, writing and conducting test cases as well as reporting errors and conducting regression, integration, system and acceptance tests.

● Knowledge and experience in areas such as testing GIS systems, agile working methods, complex software development within Java with several collaborative development teams.

● Technical experience in testing with a REST client, such as Postman, test automation, SQL queries, BDD/TDD, Cucumber and Git.

● Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
