We are looking for experienced senior developers with a demonstrated history of working in the IT and services industry. You will be working with dynamic teammates on developing capabilities utilizing containers to deploy highly available applications. You will join a team responsible for ensuring and enabling highly available and high-performance inter-service communication for both synchronous and asynchronous communication. The team heavily uses hosted services from AWS such as EKS and API Gateway and hosts a Kafka distributed streaming platform in the cloud.

You need to be a team player, working in larger teams where you support your team member and product owner.

You have an ability to dive deep into various hands-on solutions while developing new solutions/services and make strong contributions in architectural discussions.
You possess strong technical and communication skills with the ability to translate technical topics to user stories and tasks, work together with team members in all phases of development cycle. You will be part of the Architecture Chapter within IT Development and assigned to customer onboarding. Selected candidate will be based in Malmö or within greater Copenhagen region.

Experience & Skills
• Advanced knowledge of the implementation of API service architectures (SOAP, REST) with one of the market-leading API management tools such as AWS API Gateway and/or Kong and/or WSO2 and/or Apigee, etc.,
• Extensive hands-on experience in Java, RESTful micro services using Spring Boot.
• Expertise in designing and implementing API's for mobile and web applications. For example, REST (Swagger or OpenAPI) and async API's (Apache Kafka).
• Hands-on experience in designing and implementing KAFKA events.
• Good experience in configuring and implementing AWS cloud services
• Experience with monitoring tools like ELK/Prometheus/Grafana preferred
• Fluent in English – both spoken and written!
• Experience from banking or insurance business
Added Advantage
• Experience in Core Banking platform (e.g., Cards, Loans, Deposits)
• Knowledge on origination business process flow (Camunda) and business logic
• Agile methodologies (we practice Scrum and follow SAFe framework)
• General DevSecOps Experience a plus

• Take or call for actions when quality flaws are discovered
• To develop and manage the products & services according to AWS well architected framework & internal processes.
• Ensure that the implementations are aligned with the Enterprise Architectural roadmap and overall Ikano guidelines and target architecture
